Songs of Change: CJP Songwriters Past and Present

Eastern Mennonite Seminary, 1200 Park Road, Harrisonburg, VA

Guest artists and Center for Justice and Peacebuilding (CJP) alums will perform original works that focus on the power music has in their work as peacebuilders. CJP alums Frances Crowhill Miller and Daryl Snider, along with current CJP student Tarini Nagasaila Suresh, will perform songs they have written. The EMU Chamber Singers will join them on some of their songs as well, and is sponsored by the new Music and Peacebuilding Major.

Daryl performs as musician with River Crossing Playback Theatre, improvising along with actors to "play back" stories and experiences of participants. These events are fun and full of rich connections. This event will highlight relating across differences.
